The Historic Series Casino has a Mahogany Neck, the DOT, a 97 MIK Samick factory has a maple Neck. And clean they are very vintage and vintage lower output sounding IMO. Even the Casino totally cranked out not only sings, but no feedback issue. I have no feedback issue with my Casino, all the pups in both guitars are in the 8k range and sound great clean or pushed. The Casino is fairly light, can't speak for the Non-Historic issue Casino. The DOT I have had for years, the Casino less than a year.ĭOT is 'for sure' heavier due to the honker block down the center.
